Spring100 MILE LOG

“I will run the way of thy commandments, when Thou shalt enlarge my heart.”
Psalm 119:32
Well, over halfway through Spring100 is both exciting and unbelievable!! This has been a great challenge so far and I have loved enjoying every mile of it with YOU. ? It is a beautiful reminder that, just as we run run the spring100 challenge with hundreds of fellow participants, we also run the race of life with fellow brothers and sisters in Christ! Let’s strive to daily encourgae eachother unward and upward! The May Spring100 Calendar is a handy way to keep track of those miles so don’t forget to print one off. This week I want to STRONGLY encourage you to choose a verse each week for the remainder of the Spring100 and meditate on that verse during your walks. Recite it, pray it, and live it! ??♀️ Psalm 119:32 is the verse of the week for me, “I will run the way of thy commandments, When thou shalt enlarge my heart.” I love how the Psalmist says “I WILL”! Not “maybe I will” or “I’ll try” or “I can’t, it’s just too hard”? BUT “I WILL”. We can run swiftly in His commandments because He “enlarges” our hearts. “God, by His Spirit, enlarges the hearts of His people when He gives them wisdom”[MHC] and we are told in James 1:5 that “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” How exciting is that truth?! I am reminded of Psalm 119:18 where the Psalmist says, “Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of Thy law.” This would be a wonderful prayer for week 8 of the Spring100. May we seek the Lord diligently through His Word and pray that He would give us wisdom [enlarged hearts] to run [not just walk but RUN] swiftly in His commandments!! ? Praying for you all this next week as you set your sights on the finish line and RUN! ??♀️
Week 7 QUESTION: 2 questions for this week!! ?? 1.) Since we are over half way through, what’s been your favorite thing about the Spring 100 challenge so far? 2.) What is YOUR FAVORITE after walk/run treat( chocolate, fruit, cheeseburger??, NAP?, etc.)?? Comment below answering one or both questions!↓↓ Can’t wait to hear your answers!!
????DON’T FORGET! To make the 100MileMonday posts fun and interactive, I need to hear from YOU! Leave comments below and feel free to comment on other Spring100er’s comments. Friendships can be formed through comment

Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.- 1 Thes 5:11
Favorite treat: ice cream ;)
Favorite part: that it keep us running/walking together even when there is a lot going on!
Icecream is one of my favorite Spring100 treats too! ???
O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.-Ps 34:8
Well, dark chocolate and a glass of cold unsweetened tea.
Hiking/walking with friends and the challenge also ‘makes’ me go do a mile or two in order to get more in.
Dark chocolate is always a great after-walk treat! ??
O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.-Ps 34:9
My favorite part is the accountability to keep me going on the days where I really don’t want to move…a good challenge/competition always spurs me on! I’m ALMOST on track, just 0.4 miles behind what I need to average, but hoping to be all caught up this week.
My favorite treat after walking is a cold, fizzy Sparkling Ice. Nice and refreshing! :)
I can relate with being behind! I’ve been behind ever since the challenge started, but I’m slowly catching up! Great job on being almost caught up!
I’ve been behind for awhile too, but currently down to only 1.98 mi behind! My annual spring allergies have started to really kick in this week, so we’ll see how I do!? Great job catching up you two – I think we’ll make it! ?
Way to go catching up, Sarah!!! That is wonderful. ??? Keep up the fabulous work!
The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.-Ps 34:10
My favorite part is the motivation to get outside and get some exercise. ;D I don’t know what my favorite after-walk treat would be… don’t usually do anything special after a walk unless I’m with friends. then we usually go get a milkshake. <3
Milkshakes + walks with friends would make for a fabulous spring100 walk!! ??? Keep up the fabulous work, Heidi!!
The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.-Ps 34:22
Favorite thing: time with my kids.
Favorite treat: unfortunately, about anything that replaces the calories I just burned….
Haha re treat ??? I guess it’s good I don’t do one, cuz that about describes what I would treat myself to if I did ?
?? Yeah… I usually do the same thing with my treats! ?
Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.-Ps 103:13
We usually walk just before dinner, so our favorite treat after walking/jogging is whatever we’re having for dinner. ☺️ Favorite thing about the Spring100? Being motivated to go out and walk or jog together. And we love seeing all the pictures of other Spring100ers that get sent in.
Yep! I know how that is. Same for me but it’s usually breakfast I get to look forward too. ?? Keep up the great work, Plocharczyk Family!!

Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!-Ps 107:8
I always enjoy a good piece of fruit to add to the health of the exercise I do that day.
The best part about walking has to be just the opportunity to get outside around God’s beautiful creation. A thought that often comes to mind when I am outdoors is “if this is what a cursed earth looks like, oh what will a blessed Heaven be like?” I relish my time outside!!!
Good job on being healthy with your treats, Tisha!! ??

Sister time is always a blessing! So glad y’all get to enjoy runs together. ????
I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people praise thee for ever and ever.-Ps 45:17
Gita and I both live alone. She only has 40% of her hearing left and since, when I’m with her, I’m careful to talk loudly and slowly, she enjoys being able to visit while we walk. I love being with her and seeing the occasional amazing sights of animals and beautiful skies and changing weather, and greeting other walkers/joggers in passing. We enjoy watching the progress of two homes being built along our route, and a park that is slowly being renovated.
My favorite after-walk “treat” is getting home and walking into my cool house, fixing something to eat, and sitting down. Prolonged sigh… Sitting down feels soooo good.
I am so thankful you have that time with Gita!!! What a mutual blessing it must be. ??☺️ She has to enjoy that company!!!!
I felt that prolonged sigh. ?? Know how that is!!!!!! ? Keep up the inspirational walking, Sheri!!!
“Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.”Psalms 62:1
My favorite treat is definitely some form of ice cream enjoyed with sisters!
And my favorite thing (okay, things: it’s too hard to pick just one!): getting to spend time with my family, the good conversions we have, and getting to slow down and notice the details of the things around me that I usually don’t pay attention to when driving by them. ❤
I absolutely love that you have so many favorites that it’s hard to pick just one!!! ???☺️ That completely makes my day!!! ??
“He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.”
Psalms 62:2
I love all the extra conversation opportunities with my mom and brother while out walking/running. We have also been able to get in a lot of bible time since we listen while walking most of the time.
Great way to spend the Spring100 walking/running time, Kandace!!! Both are definitely blessings. ☺️??
“My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.”Psalms 62:5
My favorite part about the Spring 100 challenge is more intentional time to spend with family, walking together, and also in prayer. ❤️ I would say that my favorite after run snack would have to be a smoothie, or any type of fruit! ? And of course chocolate occasionally!! ?

I don’t usually have a special treat after a walk.
Way to go establishing a good walking routine, Bethany!!! ??
O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.-Ps 36:10

I will bless the Lord, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.-Ps 16:7
My favorite thing has been the challenge of staying on track, and getting to walk with my family and friends! And I’d have to agree with Lydia, cold kombucha is one of the best treats! ?
Great job staying on track and enjoying that sibling/friend time, Elizabeth!! ????
Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.-Ps 16:11
My favorite part of the Spring 100 this year has been getting outside and enjoying God’s creation. I have really enjoyed all the song birds this spring.
Isn’t God’s creation gorgeous?! I have enjoyed all the blooming trees in the area lately. ??
The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.-Ps 12:6
Birds and their songs are such lovely things!
My favorite part about the Spring100 is definitely reading the weekly posts, walking/running with my family, and getting extra exercise!
My favorite treat… Hmm, as odd as it may sound, I tend to have a cup of coffee afterwards depending on what time a day I walk. Not real sure how that got started, and it’s not exactly a treat to cool one down, but I enjoy it! Haha! ?
James 1:17
Amber! ?
That’s hilarious ??
I was actually told once that hot drinks help you cool down faster! ? As to the accuracy of that statement, you will have to look it up. ☕️ That being said, I 150% endorse your treat of choice! ???
Keep up the great job, Amber!! ?
Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.-Proverbs 4:7

Agreed!! ?
I am always sooooooooo happy and blessed when I hear Spring100ers have connected or met for the first time!! ???? And this year’s interaction here on the 100MileMonday posts is amazing isn’t it?! So thankful for everyone who takes their time to leave a comment!! ?
Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.-Proverbs 4:26
