Welcoming week 2 of the Spring100! ?? Congratulations, you have made it through the first week. :) Just like last year, y’all are going to have to make it through all the Spring100 formalities to get to the 100MileMonday fun at the bottom of this post. ? I have been so blessed & encouraged by each one of you who have joined this challenge. So many ENERGETIC and excited participants this year!! It’s going to be a lot of fun!! I have been and will be praying for each of you during this Challenge. WEEK 1 MILEAGE FORM
…………………………
“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
Hebrews 12:2
As I walk the Spring100 miles each week, it’s a great reminder for me of our spiritual race we are set on. Hebrews 12:2 has been on my mind all week!We are called to run this race set before with endurance in Hebrews 12 but this is only possible as we steadfastly set our eyes on Jesus Christ, finding our strength in Him alone! One of my favorite verses in Ps 118 is “The LORD is my STRENGTH and song, and is become my salvation.” Have you set your gaze upon Christ? Are you looking to Him only for your strength, your joy, and your salvation? If you are looking to any other for endurance to run this race you will fail. It is in Christ alone and by His great, endless strength and grace that we will joyfully run with endurance the spiritual race set before us! He is our Joy[Psalm 43:4], our Strength[Ps 28:7], and He is our Salvation[Is 12:2]. Let’s set our eyes steadfastly on Christ, the author and finisher of our faith and run with endurance!! ? Enjoy walking/running week 2 of the Spring100 y’all??

Loved seeing all the photos from everyone! As for snow, rain, or sunshine…how about all three? :) Okay, okay. Not necessarily walking in all three, but our weather included all three this week. A lot of wet-weather, or rather dodging wet weather.
Y’all are getting quite a winter/spring mix up there!! ?? That makes the first couple weeks of Spring100 a fun challenge. ? Have fun walking week 2 Rachel! ??♀️
My first week involved nice spring weather, although the end of the week was a bit hot. On my walks I have been enjoying watching the trees leaf out and seeing new flowers blooming. I enjoyed seeing all the pictures everyone sent in.
I’ve loved the spring sights too, Hannah!! ? I’ve been carrying my camera more often during my walks as we have blooming trees. ? So glad you had a nice first week! ☺️?
I did notice the heat towards the end of the week ?☀️… I’m gonna have to start wearing a hat or take my walks later in the evening.?… such fun pictures Hannah! I now have a strong desire to go to a cavern!????
First week was a little windy and cloudy but pleasant for the most part! I feel like my gps is being a little wonky but recorded my miles the best I could. I’m struggling with some severe fatigue so I’m appreciating this challenge to at least get some walking in. Thank you ?
Ah, I will be praying the Lord renews your strength physically and spiritually, Anna! Fatigue is challenging, I know. ?? Way to go pressing forward and getting your miles in for week 1!
He giveth power to the faint;
and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.-Is 40:29?
Thank you, Rachel. ?❤️
Great job pushing forward Anna!?
Thank you for the encouragement, Lydia ?
Also…reminded in my fatigue and walking that God is asking me to rest and be content in Him. To get my eyes off the rat race and know He’s my shepherd. I lack nothing. ❤️
Amen! ? That’s a beautiful lesson to learn, I know from personal experience. Challenging but so worth it! “The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.” Thankfully our Shepherd is very patient with us! ☺️
????❤️
Hi all you lovely people! This challenge is wonderful! My weather in Oklahoma has been beautiful sunny days or moonlight walks. The Lord’s creation is beautiful and I’m thankful for it. I love seeing all the other enthusiastic walkers! Keep it up!

Whoo hoo! Great job y’all!
It’s been a bit rainy and cloudy the past week, but the trees are blooming and the temp is climbing. Thanks to all who shared their pictures. And great job to those braving the snow and rain!
I love the verse you picked for this week, Rachel. I was reading an article about this verse and it encouraged me. It said:
“Waiting for the Lᴏʀᴅ means he will give you strength….His greatness is shown in making him — himself — available to work for others…when God enables us to not faint or grow weary because we’ve waited on him, we get the help and he gets the glory.
…Our God works for people who wait for him.”
Thanks for this week’s 100MileMonday post, Rachel! So many good truths and bible verses to meditate on that you pack into each post.
Keep of the great walking and running, y’all!
Isn’t Isaiah 40:31 so encouraging?! I love that exert from that article. “Waiting for the Lᴏʀᴅ means he will give you strength” Amen. ? ?
Thank you for being such an encouragement for the Spring100, Leah! Love seeing your pictures and comments come in. Enjoy week 2!!?
Great post Rachel!
Love all the pictures.
Thanks Ruth!! And thank you for sending in pictures + leading group walks. Love having you part of the spring100 again!! ???
The weather in South Texas was gorgeous for most of the week so the first few days were lovely for walking! Saturday I flew to VA and am spending time with my sister and her family so I’ll be logging miles with my sister and nephew for the next few weeks! The weather here is definitely colder so a big change from the sunny weather we have in Texas this time of year?
So much fun!! Enjoy your walks with your sister these next few weeks. <3 And keep warm! ??
Starting off a little behind this week, but very thankful for the challenge and encouragement to keep going despite being busy. Most of my walks were at dusk or later, so it has been the perfect temp and best time of day to catch the lovely hues of the evening!
Way to go, Kandace!! I knew you were super busy and wasn’t sure you would join BUT I am super thankful you did! :) Hey, maybe we can would a mile together before the challenge is over?! ??? Keep up the great work!!
Wow! You have a lot of people doing this, Rachel! Way to go everyone!!! ?

We have a very large group this year!! So super excited about that. ?
We just had April showers show up a little early here too! It’s going to be a wet few days. ? So glad to have you, Annie!!! ???
