“Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people, and hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David”
Luke 1:68-69
The stockings have been hung ever so carefully, Christmas cookies are baking and we’ve even done some fudge making! Christmas Cards have been signed, stuffed, stamped, sealed, and sent off with lots of love and warm wishes. Orders have been finished, filled, and shipped to expectant customers. Nightly caroling has commenced among sisters…. Phew! Yes, it’s true! We are counting down to Christmas. :) And here I am, soaking up a warm fire and a few quiet moments as the clock strikes midnight, finding time to say “hello”! Life has been so full and there are so many memories being made. I am officially on my “week before christmas slower work pace” which means, Lord willing, there will be a little more blogging happening around here this week. SOOOoo let me know you would like to see more post and will be following along with a comment in the comment box!! QUESTION I would love to hear what your favorite Christmas tradition is. Caroling? Christmas Cookie baking? Leave a comment and make my Christmas! :) :)

“Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel”
Isaiah 7:14
Thanks for the merry post!!! I loved all the pics!!!
My favorite things about Christmas… too many to count! ?❤️
Loved seeing your comment, Elisha!! I bet y’all are excited to be celebrating Christmas with Baby Adele this year. So sweet!! ?☺️?
LOVE this post! Y’all’s home looks lovely.
And just had to say: that is a LOT of fudge! :) :)
Oh! It is so hard to pick a favorite. Caroling is such fun for sure. I really love our church’s candle light service where we sing silent night in a circle around the sanctuary. The most special is our family’s Christmas breakfast! We use the silver and best plates and put on Handel’s Messiah.
Thanks for sharing!!
?I know, I left half way through the process to get some shop work done and when I came back in I was so shocked at how much fudge they made! ? We normally only make 2 pans. ?
Your Christmas breakfast sounds absolutely beautiful!! ? Hope this year’s is the best yet for you!!
Christmas is so fun! I don’t think our family really has traditions, but a couple years ago, I started making a delicious Romanian bread called pasca. (http://atreatsaffair.com/romanian-easter-bread-pasca-recipe/).
Yes, Christmas is so much grub. ❤️☺️ Wow, that bread recipe looks absolutely delicious and so festive!!
Hmm how could I decide what my favorite Christmas tradition is?! I absolutely love everything about this wonderful season.
One of my favorites though would have to be our lasagna dinner on Christmas Eve. :D
That fudge looks soo good! Y’all made a lot :)
Merry Christmas to y’all!! =D
Oh wow!! Your Christmas Eve dinner sounds perfect. <3 We have a Christmas Eve Chili dinner tradition! So much fun!!
I know! ;b I think we will be eating fudge for quite a few weeks!
Merry Christmas to you, Annie! <3
Love this post! ❤️ My favorite thing is hard to pin down. ? I just love so much about this season! Perhaps my fave would be our family times whether outings or caroling or festivities. Family is such a blessing!
Thank you, Sarah!! I love seeing all your family’s Christmas festivities! ? Yes, I agree. Family is a huge blessing!!
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” John 1:14
I love the photo of Mom hanging stockings at the opening of this post! Watching Mom over the years, hand stitching each stocking and diligently hanging them every Christmas is a very special memory!
As far as favorite traditions… that is so hard to answer! However, designing and making Christmas cards together as a family is most definitely at the top!
Can’t wait to see more Christmas fun!;)
Love,
Micah
P.S LOVE the falling snowflakes on the blog!!! ?❄️
Aren’t they fun?!! ?❄️❄️❄️
Love john 1:14!! One of my Christmas verse favorites. ?
Isn’t incredible to watch mom make each stocking over the years?!! ? The Christmas cards are one of my favorites too!! ☺️?
Thanks so much for sharing, Rachel! Wow – your Mom handstitched those stockings?! That’s really neat. ?
Favorite Christmas tradition… I love the lights, the Christ-centered Christmas carols, delicious treats, festive decorations…but it would have to boil down to reading the Christmas story. At our house it comes before opening gifts (in one way or another) which sorely tried my patience when I was much smaller. ? Now it wouldn’t be Christmas without it! ?
I love your favorite, Melanie!! :) Isn’t it funny how something that was once a patience builder becomes a favorite?! ? ☺️?
