Yes, it’s that time of year again! When we grab our camo and diligently hunt 2 plump turkeys. It’s hard work y’all but somebody has to do it! ?? Okay, okay… so it’s more like a Sister’s shopping trip to find the most plump already butchered and clean turkey at our supermarket[they look much more appetizing when the head is already removed ;]. ?? But it’s still hard work! Our traditional Girl’s Thanksgiving Shopping trip happened early Monday morning. With 2 teams, 6 carts, a couple hundred different items[which may or may not have been made up of mostly butter ?], and Thanksgiving dinner on our minds we conquered the grocery store madness and even found some coffee along the way. Today Stuffing & pie crusts preparation will commonsense and I think it’s really feeling like 48 hours until the most thankful day of the year! ? QUESTION!???? What are you making for Thanksgiving and what’s your favorite Thanksgiving dish?? Comment below and let me know! For me… Dad’s as homemade-as-homemade-gets stuffing takes 1st for dinner and Cranberry Raisin Pie wins hands down for dessert! Happy 48 hours until Thanksgiving y’all!?
Too many goodies to count…but I must admit, pecan pie is a favorite! :) Happy Thanksgiving!
Pecan pie is my favorite to make!!! ?? Happy Thanksgiving Rachel!
Our family favorite is Mom’s sweet potato casserole! Yummy!! This year we will be cooking on a camp stove and will have no refrigeration. So, we are having mashed potatoes with chicken, bacon, and picante cheese sauce! Not your typical Thanksgiving meal, but it’s the company that matters more than the food. ??
Yum! I love sweet potato casserole. ?❤️ Ah!! Your dinner this year sounds like an fun adventure! And so very true! It’s all about the people you share the day with. We didn’t have an oven or stove top one year so we did grilled chicken and broccoli salad. We all agree that it was one of the best Thanksgivings dinner ever! ☺️? Happy thanksgiving, Bethany! Have fun. ?
