Some days….

“Though HE were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him”
Heb 5:8-9

Some days call for ironing and Emmi does just that in a pretty unique way! ;) The days have been full lately and a lot of change has happened in just a few short weeks. All good, thank the Lord! Blogging has been but on a “temporary hold” but, Lord willing, I will have many more posts to come. So, don’t stop coming by!! [Please :)]  I’ve been reflecting on Hebrews 5 lately! Specifically verses 8-9! How amazing is it that Christ, our perfect  Lord and great Savior, learned from suffering?! “And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.” [Phil 2:8] No words of explaining are necessary! :) How humbling and amazing and comforting and joyous all at once. →QUESTION! What scripture has blessed you this week? I’d be blessed to hear from YOU. Leave a comment below ↓↓and let me know!!

“For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit”
1 Peter 3:18

About Rachel

"Come now, and let us reason together," says the Lord, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword"; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken." Isaiah 1:18-20

    1. Wow!? That is a beautiful portion of Isaiah 54! <3 I love that entire chapter. Verse 10 & 17 are 2 of my favorites! Thankful that we have a God who cares so greatly for us and comforts us! Thank you for commenting, Elisabeth!

  1. Thanks for sharing this! Wonderful encouragement, Rachel!
I have been encouraged by 1 Thessalonians 5 where it says, “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
It has encouraged me anew in the way that it reminds me that even when I don’t know much of God’s specific will I can know His will for my life in the way I react to His plan. What a difference my heart attitude makes if I rejoice, pray and give thanks in all things! I fail often, but when He gives me joy in Himself it is such a blessing.

Thanks again for always pointing your readers to the Lord and His Word!

    Blessings,
    Leah

    1. Amen!! Yes!!! Thank you for such an encouraging comment, Leah. ❤️ Wow, that was a great reminder. ☺️ Your verses reminded me of one the Lord has been using for me lately. Phil 4:6-7!

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

      Have a lovely evening Leah!!

  2. I’m being blessed this week by reminders of the Lord’s splendor, majesty and strength! We serve such a powerful and mighty Savior!

    Job 37:4-5 and Psalm 96:6

    1. Mmmm… amen! Love those verses. ❤️ “Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.” Praise the Lord!! ?
