Trying out a new Lens || Random Monday Madness

It is Monday!! Today held several hours of computer work for me but when there is christmas candy[ because chocolate is a must on Mondays ;] and earl gray tea involved, I don’t mind at all! ;) With all the madness that Monday tends to bring, this Monday brought a whole lot of God’s goodness, clean office[decided I’d share a peek into my work space with y’all while its clean!????], beautiful weather, and a borrowed lens!!???? I have wanted to try out a Lensbaby lens for years and today I finally got the chance. I’ve experimented with “freelensing” for the last year and love the effect it creates so I’m looking forward to experimenting with the lensbaby lens. But today duty/work called and I was only able to snap a few shot with the lens.  I will admit, it’s a bit tricky to get the hang of using. Lord willing, tomorrow the lens will be put to the test! ;)  So, I want to hear from you! Have you tried a lensbaby lens or freelensing  before ? If so, what do you think about it? How was your Monday? Happy Monday y’all! ♥

  3. This is neat! I’ve have actually never heard of a lensbaby. I am excited for you. These shots are lovely. Especially the one of Emmi!

    Thanks for sharing your work station. It looks both functional, pretty and cheery! The yellow chair, pictures on the bulletin board and mason jar add a cute touch.

    Looks like you had a productive Monday. One thing I enjoyed on Monday was eating lunch with my sister and a sweet lady from our church. She made venison soup and biscuits with bacon and herbs. It was amazing! She’s an wonderful cook.

    1. The lens is fun and a lot different than those I usually use! It take a bit to get used and definitely not a “grab and go” lens.
      Thank you, Leah!! :) Yes, the work station is super functional and I am so thankful to the Lord for it! Love adding little pops of color whenever possible. :)
