Plans Change! :) {afternoon randomness}

‘Cause sometimes plans change! :) Started out the day with a large grocery list in hand,  heading to the grocery store to do the grocery shopping{tennis shoes on because grocery stores tend to be a little crazy this time of year ;-)} but, after a random and unexpected change of plans, I ended up home, kidsitting two crazy girls{who happen to have way more energy than I do}, enjoying  the beautiful weather with a walk, doing a few dishes, and eating bananas! ;) Yes, in life plans change. Sometimes they are small changes and sometimes HUGE, and in my house they usually change in a split second. Today I am extremely thankful that “A man’s heart plans his way, but the LORD determines his steps”
{Proverbs 16:9} (: A simple reminder to:

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

About Rachel

"Come now, and let us reason together," says the Lord, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword"; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken." Isaiah 1:18-20

  1. Sweet post, Rachel! I always enjoy them. Being with your little sisters must be a treat. I’m wondering – what lens is on your camera in these pictures? :)

    “When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them. I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water. I will plant in the wilderness the cedar, the shittah tree, and the myrtle, and the oil tree; I will set in the desert the fir tree, and the pine, and the box tree together: That they may see, and know, and consider, and understand together, that the hand of the LORD hath done this, and the Holy One of Israel hath created it.” (Isaiah 41:17-20)

    1. Thank you, Sarah! I’m always blessed by your comments. ALWAYS! Yes, such a huge blessing to be able to spend so much time with them. :)

      All the photos in this post were shot with my EF 35mm f/1.4L USM wide angle lens. At the moment, its the only lens I own! Love it. :)

      “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19 :)
