“This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth”
1 John 1:5-6
I ran across a wonderful article last nigh that I wanted to share with y’all. I am going to post the link instead of the entire article but really really encourage you to read it! According to the Holy Word of God, where there is light there can be no darkness and where there is darkness there can be no light{1 John 1, 1 Peter 2:9}. We are called to “have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.” and to Walk as children of light! >> Read the article HERE<<
Thanks for taking a stand on this! I am so tired of folks who call themselves Christians celebrating a holiday dedicated to Satan.
Thank you for your comment! The church is in a sad state and has forsaken it’s call to purity and Holiness. We who are called by the Lord are called to live a holy set-apart life, reproving evil and walking in the light! “But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation” 1 Peter 1:15
God bless you today!
Great article! We read this in Bible this morning and I was thinking of posting it. I’m glad you did. :)
It is a fantastic article! Thankful the Lord brought it my way so that I could post it. :)
It’s been a while since I read an article that stands up for the Truth in such a bold way such as this one. Thank you for posting it! It’s good to have an answer to those who question our faith (1 Peter 3:15 “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:”) in such an honest, straight-forward manner, not apologizing for what we believe. God bless, and keep up the good posts! ;)
Romans 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
Thank you! :)
Yep! I never have celebrated it :) Thanks for encouraging me again! ;P
So glad to hear. And Your welcome! ;)
