Said the robin to the sparrow…

Said the robin to the sparrow,
“I would really like to know
Why those anxious human beings
rush around and worry so.”

Said the sparrow to the robin,
“Friend, I think that it must be
That they have no Heavenly Father
such as cares for you and me.”

“Fear not therefore, you are of more value than many sparrows.”
Matthew 10:31

Well, the wonderful truth is that we have the same heavenly Father as the robin and the sparrow and we are of much more value than MANY sparrows! :) But don’t we forget so often and turn to worrying instead of trusting our Sovereign Lord? It is extremely easy to forget, I know! But remember, be anxious for nothing and trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding! I was reminded of Proverbs 8:17 last night “I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.” Seeking the Lord should not stop upon salvation. Once the Lord has saved us, we should continue to seek the Lord with all our hearts! So, today I want to encourage you all to seek the LORD diligently! Saved or lost. Don’t put it off until tomorrow because tomorrow may never be yours! Today is the day of salvation{2 Cor 6:2}! :)

Another week has come and gone and it’s time for a random{from the phone} post! :) Work, baking, kid-sitting, building construction, bible reading, card making, photo editing, and a bunch of randomness has been going on this week. I always enjoy putting these random posts together as they always remind me how much God has truly blessed me in the little things! Nothing HUGE in the world’s definition of huge has happened but I am so thankful for the work the Lord has given me to put my hands to, the parents & siblings & friends HE has blessed me with, and most of all for HIS unfailing love! God is good and I am blessed! Now, I have about 2,400 photos to edit from a couple of photo shoots the last week but can’t seem to sit still long enough to finish them up! The sunny Texas weather is calling me out this lovely Sunday afternoon. So, I leave you with my extremely random post, filled full of typos ;), and I am off to soak up some sun! :) What are you all thankful for this week? Until we meet again, grace be with you all! (:

A million random iphone photos, sorry! :) Hover and click to enlarge! (:

“But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.
I will sing unto the Lord, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.”
Psalm 13:5-6

About Rachel

"Come now, and let us reason together," says the Lord, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword"; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken." Isaiah 1:18-20
