Yep, that right, it’s my Dad’s birthday today! :) My Dad, hyper-entrepreneur{hyper may be putting it lightly!}, Texan at heart{finally a Texan by law a little over 10 months ago!}, professional second generation seamster{in case y’all didn’t know, that’s the male version of a seamstress. ;) and if I had pictures I would show you the masterpieces he has upholstered in his lifetime.}, avid garage saler{always scouting out good deals to turn over. he is what I like to call a professional “picker”}, hosts the best bible studies ;), master of the grill{he can grill a steak like non-other}, genius when it comes to solving “big family” dilemmas{and if you don’t know what I am talking about it’s because you aren’t part of a big family ;)}, and he just keeps on getting better looking with age! :)
If you know my Dad, you know that he has a spectacular sense of humor and he has a fantastic way of keeping things extremely lively & us on our toes! His ability to maintain a rational level of peace and stability with a house full of women is beyond brilliant and his sense of adventure always gives way for excitement{this would explain the first picture below where he decided it would be great to pose like a Greek god… or was it a cherub?! ;)} All this to say, I really really really ❥ my dad! :) So extremely thankful for the 49 years of life the Lord has given him! :)

I commented back during your Dad’s health issues, and mentioned that I understand the fear of loosing a father. I also understand what it is like to be so thankful to have him for yet another year. So glad for you.
Yes! When you have lost someone or come close to loosing someone you love, you come to realize a little better what a tremendous blessing & miracle each new year or even day of life is. God is good and I am so thankful that He has brought my Dad through another year! Psalm 107:1-2
