“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.”
John 10:28
My brother,Nathanael, surrendered his life to his Lord this weekend, repenting of his sins & putting his trust in the Perfect Savior. Now he not only my physical brother but my spiritual brother! What a tremendous answer to prayer!! This morning we went down to the river and I was blessed to witness his baptism! Join with me in welcoming Nathanael to the household of God! :)
“For he says, I have heard you in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I helped you: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”
2 Corinthians 6:2
Since I was taking pictures, all video footage shot by Joel! Fantastic job, Joel!! :)
My soul echoes the Psalmist on Nathanael, and your family’s, behalf. “Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth ALL thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies…” Thank you for sharing these precious family moments, Rachel. Praising the Lord with you all.
“…The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever. He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.” “O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so…” :)
Praise God! Rejoicing with you and with all the heavenly host!
Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth. Luke 15:10
“Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses. He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder. Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!” :) Praise be to God!
