I Will Glory in My Redeemer | Thankfulness {from the iphone}

It’s Saturday again! :) By the grace of God and His strength alone, we have made it to the end of another week! Every second of every minute of ever hour of every day of this week has been filled to overflowing with God’s mercy & grace & love & goodness{and yes, I know that sentence is very grammatically incorrect! ;)} He has sustained your life{Psalm 54:4}, keeping your heart beating{approximately 700,000 times in the last week!}, and He alone has given you the strength to get out of bed each new morning and get back in every night! He is our Provider{Phil 4:19}, our Protector{Psalm 91:1-2}, and our Redeemer{Ephesians 1:7}! God truly is great and greatly to be praised!! Tonight I am glorying in my Redeemer and so thankful for the wonderful work He has done and is doing in my life{Phil 1:6}! What are you thankful for today? :)

“I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore.”
Psalm 86:12

Giving thanks for the little thing throughout the week! For rainy Saturdays off work, thankful for the little people, :) for sunsets{and the unseen sunrises}, for the cute little girl all dressed up in the giraffe suit, for patient brothers willing to teach me new card games. Thankful for funny brothers that add a lot of laughter to my day, for lots of work & hard-working sisters{that includes you, Grace & Lydia… just didn’t grab a picture of y’all this week. :)}, for a handsome fellow in a dapper hat, for bookmarks made by a talented almost 8 year-old out of lindor truffle wrappers, and so much more! :)

“I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
Psalm 91:2

About Rachel

"Come now, and let us reason together," says the Lord, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword"; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken." Isaiah 1:18-20

  1. I love how you always remind us that it is God’s grace that gets us through the week. So true. And I still am obsessed with those chevron boots!!! Rainy days are the best. :D

    1. It is only by God’s grace the we make it through a week!! It is by His grace that we draw our next breath and each & every heart beat is an outpouring of His mercy! :) Sometimes these tremendous gifts are so easily forgotten in the busy week. (:

      Wish I could find a pair if the chevron boots in your size!! We purchased those boots for Ruth a couple years ago. She has definitely gotten her use out of them!! :)

  2. Oh Rachel, thank you so very much for those posts. And this song…I knew Steve Pettit Evangelistic Team and thanks to you I discovered the Galkin Evangelistic Team. This song litteraly brought tears into my eyes, reminding how much my redeemer made for me and how unworthy I am…
    Have a blessed week and thank you for you blog…Such an encouragement !

    1. Thank you, Marie, for your comment!! I send my posts off into cyberspace with the prayer that they will bless and encourage others and I am humbled and so blessed to hear that The Lord has used my blog to encourage you. :) It encourages me to keep on posting! This song is my favorite. :) What a reminder! Christ Jesus bore our sins, He made the ultimate sacrifice taking our place on the cross, crushing the power of sin and death, and rising victorious over the grave! I will glory in my Redeemer! :)

      ““O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?” The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

      P.S. I hope you enjoy the Galkin Evangelistic Team as much as I do!! :)

Leave a comment and make my day! :)
