“knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. But he who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done, and there is no partiality.”
Colossians 3:24-25
"Come now, and let us reason together," says the Lord, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword"; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken." Isaiah 1:18-20

I finished Mary’s Song of Praise and now I’m deciding what to memorize next. How do you pick your scriptures?
I had a friend tell me today that she was reading my scripture challenges and that she has started working with her children memorizing scriptures at breakfast…I didn’t even know she was following my blog.
See what you have started, there is no telling who will be touched by your challenge.
I have acquired the habit of highlighting verses(or at times entire chapters) that really jump out at me when I do my daily bible reading(my bible is starting to look quite colorful :). So I decided to use those verses/chapters that I have highlighted to memorize! :) I am having a hard time deciding which to choose next as I want to have them all memorized right away. (:
Wow, how exciting to hear my challenge is going far beyond those who visit my blog! I am praising the Lord that He put in my mind and heart to do this challenge and so thankful He is using it!!
Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected, but I press on that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has laid hold of me. I do not count myself to have apprehended but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind I press on towards the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Phillipians 3:12-14
Do not let your heart envy sinners,
But be zealous for the fear of the Lord all the day;
For surely there is a hereafter,
And your hope will not be cut off.
Proverbs 23:17-18
