Day 12 | 31 Day Scripture Challenge

Day 12:

“Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged.  Bondservants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh, not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but in sincerity of heart, fearing God. And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men,”
Colossians 3:21-23

About Rachel

"Come now, and let us reason together," says the Lord, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword"; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken." Isaiah 1:18-20

  1. Working on re-memorizing the first two chapters of Philippians, and once that is good I am on to the last two! Going a little slower than I’d like, but I’m getting there. So glad you posted this even if we are all going at different speeds.
    Hope you have a great weekend!

    1. Thank YOU for the comment and keeping me update on what you are memorizing!! Keep on keeping on RuthAnne! Whatever be your speed. :)

  2. Love this scripture and Andrew Peterson’s song!
    And His mercy is on them that fear Him from generation to generation. He hath showed strength with His arm; He hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. Luke 1: 50-51

  3. Beautiful song! Thank you for sharing it. Btw, I didn’t join the scripture challenge, but I am trying to do one verse a day that a friends sends me. Thanks for challenging us!

  4. Let us search out and examine our ways,
    And turn back to the Lord;
    Let us lift our hearts and hands
    To God in heaven.
    Lamentations 3:40-41
