Day 8 | 31 Day Scripture Challenge

Hoping my memory is a little better than my parking jobs :-|… ;)

Day 8:

“bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.”
Colossians 3:13-14

About Rachel

"Come now, and let us reason together," says the Lord, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword"; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken." Isaiah 1:18-20

  1. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

  2. Though I haven’t been posting every day~ I have been trying to work on the Gospel of John Chapter 1:

    1) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
    2) The same was in the beginning with God.
    3) All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
    4) In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
    5) And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
    6) There was a man sent from God whose name was John.
    7) The same came for a witness, to bear witness to that Light, that all men through him might believe.
    8) He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

    That’s as far as I’ve gotten, and verse 7 is being tricky for me, but I am going to keep working on it! Thanks for the daily posts – it’s such a good reminder to keep on keeping on! :)

  3. I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart;
    I will tell of all Your marvelous works.
    I will be glad and rejoice in You;
    I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.
    Psalm 9:1-2
