From Missouri to Texas and Back in 96 hours | Road Trip

210 miles down and 630 miles left to go!!!! I may not make it home before I lose my sanity…. or perhaps I have already lost it?! ;)
Yikes! Almost another week has past since I last posted. My excuse? I was on a road trip…  =D well I am actually still on the road trip just headed home!
Lets see how far I can make it on this post. I have attempted twice so far to post on my cellphone and each time I am almost complete I get  a phone call then my wordpress account logs out! So it has been a challenge to post as I travel down the highway to say the least! I will see if I can post this before my battery goes  dead. ;) I spent the last couple days in Texas with my Dad and sister. Boy, it was HOT at 101° but still sooo much fun and a blessing to be able to go! This is my 5th trip to Texas and back in the last year so the 840 miles seem like a breeze.  I LOVE road trips even when they are extremely quick!!
To all those I left at home, SEE YOU SOON!!

A few REALLY random photos from the past couple days:
Micah found a wooly mammoth tree!

The world’s best Bleu Cheese burger was found in Boerne, Texas!Dad and Micah!

“The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul.”

Proverbs 16:17

About Rachel

"Come now, and let us reason together," says the Lord, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword"; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken." Isaiah 1:18-20

  1. come. home. soon. You left me with no dark chocolate and I have been forced to eat cookie dough ice cream in it’s place every night since you left.

    1. well that hurts. the only reason u want me home is to go grocery shopping for ur dark chocolate? :( oh well. such is the plight of an older sister. yeah, i need to get back to my dark chocolate too. i have been splurging on cupcakes the last couple days! :D

    1. Thanks Sage! Safely home. :) I know, we were driving through OKC (actually stopped at a gas station off the highway near/in your town if I remembered your home city correctly?!) and I thought about you! Maybe one day very soon we will end up in the same town at the same time and be able to visit… :)

Leave a comment and make my day! :)
