Yes, it is true, my camera is sick!! Quarantined to bed-rest and I am guessing Vitamin B or C won’t cure whatever it has. ;)
Today promised to be a perfectly beautiful day! I had just started to regain some energy after 5 days of being sick and the weather was GORGEOUS! I grabbed my camera and went out for a walk so excited to see what “spingyness”(<made that word up. Feel free to use it!! ;) ) there was just waiting for me to picture! Within 10 steps I found springyness, picked up my camera, and turned it on but nothing happened, then tried to turn it on again and again but still nothing. :-| No, it’s not because my battery is dead. I have been asked that over 1/2 a dozen times and checked. Full battery but very sick camera. :(
After about 2.5 minutes of mourning over my camera I decided to pick myself up by my bootstraps flipflops(technically it wouldn’t be boot straps seeing I am wearing flipflops) and I am now looking into getting it repaired! Lord willing, the warranty will cover the cost because I am broke! Philippians 4:6 says be anxious for nothing so I am not stressing over it! God is good, He has blessed me with this camera and He will give me the means to fix it in His perfect timing :) Until fixed, unless I pull out my mom’s point-and-shoot ;) or nab my sister’s Canon Rebel, my blog will go postless! But until next post, here are a few shots I managed to squeeze out the last few days!
ENJOY this wonderful day the Lord has blessed you with!! =)

Thats really sad…. did one of your sibling wash it maybe ? jk ;)
:( Yeah, REALLLLY sad. Now that I think about it I did let my 3 year old sister use it during her bath! ;)
haha ugh. ;) That’s really weird… never heard of a camera just randomly NOT turning on like that. The only possibilities I can think of would be if it was dropped or moisture damage. Even with dead battery it will turn on enough to tell you your battery is dead. Hope you get it fixed!
Thanks! I thought about moisture damage or possible a bad sensor as those seems to be the only slight possibilities. I just sent it into the Canon HQ so I guess I will find out! :)
Oh dear, having sick camara’s is never fun :(
Not fun at all :( But I guess now I can improve my point-and-shoot skills! ;)
Oh no, that’s quite sad! :( Hopefully you’ll have a working camera soon!
HOPING so. Don’t think I can live too long without it!! :)
Awww…..sorry to hear about the camera troubles. Thankfully I have been blessed with a healthy camera the last three years:)
Hoping yours is an easy fix!
Have a great weekend!
Emily
Thanks Emily! :) I have never had any camera trouble before this either. Both my other cameras have practically been tossed around and dropped in puddles of water without any damage! Lord willing, it will be a very easy fix!
Have a wonderful evening and enjoy the beautiful weather!! :)
