Today is International Wear Green Day!!

March 17th, the day when one must wear green to avoid a very painful pinch…. At least that is the way it is in my house. That is why I am wearing a green headband and might just go and put on some green socks for added protections! I am sitting here listing to little girls scream because they forgot to put on their green and a relentless brother noticed. :)

Also a day when I feel extra Irish and pine to set my eyes that Emerald Isle. Just so happens that we originate from the O’Leaky clan…. Okay okay, so I really don’t have any Irish blood that I know about…. I actually come from a long line of gypsies ;) But I’m almost 92% positive there is a little Irish mixed into my gypsy blood ;)
So, I am here to remind y’all to put on GREEN! :)

Green is EVERYWHERE at my house! :)

Joel is wearing a GREEN bow tie. Looks pretty charming doesn’t he? ;)

“Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.”
1 Timothy 1:4

About Rachel

"Come now, and let us reason together," says the Lord, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword"; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken." Isaiah 1:18-20

  1. Love your headband!

Yes, I forgot it was St. Patricks day and as soon as my sisters saw me, before I got a chance to put green on I was pinched by atleast 4 sisters:)

    Have a great Sunday!

  2. Lovely pics! Very much enjoyed seeing them.

I always think my green eyes safeguard me from an of that. So I don't worry about green.

Gypsy, huh? My grandmother always used to tell us we were part gypsy. But I'm pretty sure she was making that up. :)

  3. Thanks Sage! Yes, your green eyes definitely give you an advantage on St. Patrick's Day :)

Yep, 1/2 Gypsy to be quite exact! The gypsy blood comes from my Dad's side ;)

  4. Happy St. Patrick's Day from Ireland (a few days late)! I think it's funny how this day is far more celebrated in the States than it is here. St. Patrick was a wonderful man.

Leave a comment and make my day! :)
