Dear Summer….

Please come soon! ;) After about 2 months with little sunshine here in Texas, I am looking forward to the warm summer sun! But until then, I will enjoy this picture taken during a summer evening walk! :) I am always reminded of 1 Corinthians 15:51-55 when I look at this photo.  As I look forward to Summer I am so thankful  I have something greater than seasons or warm summer evenings  to look forward to! What am I talking about? In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.” & “Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?[2 Peter 3:12] I am not sure about you, but those 2 verses give me so much joy.  Are you “hasting unto the coming of the day of God“? [Saved?] And that is my random thought for today as I reminisce of summers past. ;)  So, which season is your favorite? :)

SHILOH PHOTOGRAPHY 5.14

Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,  In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.  O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
1Corinthians 15:51-55

About Rachel

"Come now, and let us reason together," says the Lord, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword"; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken." Isaiah 1:18-20
