The day the little girl in hat dream came true! :)
The day finally arrived! The little girl in the pink hat was about to have her wildest dreams come true. She was about to come face-to-face with a real live horse! Anticipation built and the excitement was almost too much to bear as she waited and waited to leave. ;) Everyone wore something “cowboyish” for the occasion[yes, even I put on a plaid shirt to show my appreciation for cow-people ;], we loaded ourselves up the big family bus, and we were off. Of course, a coffee stop was necessary because y’all know you can’t see a horse without a cup of coffee[or so I told her. ;] Finally and truly the little girl in the pink hat saw the horse and then touched the horse and then SAT ON THE HORSE! :) The day far surpassed the little girl’s expectations and she will never forget the day she came face-to-face with “Gypsy” the Pinto horse. ;) Our trip to the Annual Western Showcase in pictures!
“It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High: To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night, Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound. For thou, Lord, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.
O Lord, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.”
"Come now, and let us reason together," says the Lord, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword"; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken." Isaiah 1:18-20
