10 Reasons I Kissed Halloween Goodbye | Where there is light there is no darkness

“This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth”

About Rachel

"Come now, and let us reason together," says the Lord, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword"; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken." Isaiah 1:18-20

  1. Thank you for sharing. This Is thoughtfully written and articulates exactly my own personal convictions and perspectives. It is encouraging to know I’m not alone; I feel my light is very dim against this dark day! Blessings to you!

  2. I agree with you wholeheartedly. Very well written! I’m so thankful that my family never has participated in Halloween events. And I don’t really think we need to ‘substitute’ it with something else either. Just treat it as another day to live for the Lord and rejoice that we are His!
