Just add sprinkles ;) || Recipe

“How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!”
Psalms 119:103

New recipe on the cooking blog this blustery spring afternoon! Had fun in the kitchen while watching my 2 youngest siblings on Friday and created a rather delightful frosting recipes: Chocolate Coffee Cream Cheese Frosting! Just add sprinkles. ;)

About Rachel

"Come now, and let us reason together," says the Lord, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword"; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken." Isaiah 1:18-20

  1. I always enjoy reading about/seeing your desserts! They look so wonderful, but the few things that I have baked (Not necessarily from your blog :)) always look like disasters! They usually still taste good, though. I’m hoping to try this frosting as it sounds amazing.
I do have a few questions, first would it change the frosting too much to switch the almond flavoring with vanilla, or leave it out altogether?
And secondly, did you use a cake mix for the cupcakes, and if so, was it white or yellow? Also, have you ever tried it on some kind of brownie or something similar? I’m not a huge cake fan, but I’d try the frosting on just about anything.
Thanks for sharing!! Baking with little siblings is always fun! :)

    1. Thank you, Christina!! :) I have not-so-picture-perfect desserts happen too. So your not alone! ;]
Wouldn’t change it too much at all if you left out the almond flavor! I just love almond extract so much I couldn’t help but add a bit. :)
Nope, I didn’t use a cake mix. Actually, I used a pound cake recipe for the base that I have posted :here:! This icing would ber SUPERB with brownies. :) Super delicious combination!
Thank you so much for commenting. Always glad to hear from you. [: Have a blessed day, Christina!

    1. Thank you, Leah!! Yes, it’s a bench I found at a salvage shop. :) I am so thankful to have found it. Such a fun little prop to use! [:
