A rainy Saturday afternoon and the Word of God. The only Book that is “living, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” The only Book that promises “it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” The only Book that “is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness”. It is a lamp unto our feet & light unto our path…. Don’t neglect it!
"Come now, and let us reason together," says the Lord, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword"; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken."
