Of S’mores, picnics, and Coffee Shops…. This is my really random post ;)

It is that times of the week again! Where I post extreme randomness. :) I had a few minutes before I need to go start on a batch of Lava Cakes and just finished reading Daniel and the Lions Den to Bekah & Emmi, so I thought, “why not throw together a quick post!” :) Randomness {from my phone} with exception to the S’more pictures which are from my camera. Because of my fear of my external flash, I bumped the ISO up to 6400 and enjoyed capturing the sticky mess that was taking place by the fire!! ;)

Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
Isaiah 41:10

Tons of Work, massive amounts of cooking, little brothers catching lizards,  little sisters picking flowers, more work, grocery shopping, sunny Saturday picnics,  book reading to youngsters, and discovering new coffee shops all bound-up in 7 days{168 hours} and I have pictures to prove it!! ;) I am thanking the Lord He has given me the strength to make it through this week… well, my entire 23 years of existence really. (: No, my days and weeks aren’t without trial and yes, I have had disappointments but God constantly reminds me of His goodness and that His grace is sufficient. He promises to strengthen us and uphold us. He promises “no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly.” His Word does not lie and for that I am so thankful! :) I like to remember this: Depending on who you are, your heart has beat around 604,000 times, pumping 2,000 gallons of blood per day to about 60,000 miles of branching blood vessels. That, my friends, is nothing short of a complete miracle!! Give thanks… always. And remember, it takes 17 muscles to smile and 43 to frown. So give your face a rest and smiles!! :)

I will praise Thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are Thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.”
Psalm 139:14

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.”
Ephesians 3:20-21

About Rachel

"Come now, and let us reason together," says the Lord, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword"; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken." Isaiah 1:18-20

    1. Thank you, Hannah!! :) My random post are always some of my favorite to put together. Always a good reminder for me of what God has done and brought me through in a weeks time! He sustains… Even through the most difficult situations!! He is faithful! :)

“My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof.” Psalm 71:15

  1. I really enjoyed seeing all the pictures. I feel like I get a little glimpse into what everyday life looks like for you and your family. Some of my favorite memories with my family involve s’mores. So here is a question, my family and I really like peanut butter and chocolate… have you ever tried peanut butter with s’mores? I can’t remember, but I’m pretty sure we got the idea from a book that we read once upon a time and have really enjoyed them that way. Just an idea, kind of wondering if we are the only ones with odd tastes. :) Love the verses, I needed a little pick up today. :)

    1. Christina! So glad to receive your comment. :) I was actually thinking about sending you an email the other day!! :) Yes, these random posts are glimpses into my everyday life for sure! And I am so glad the verses gave you were encouraged by the verses. That is a blessing to hear!! Thank you!

Y’all don’t have odd tastes at all!!! We LOVE peanut butter and chocolate together but I never thought about a peanut butter s’more! That sounds extremely delicious! Going to try that just as soon as I replenish my s’more supplies! :)

  2. Yeah I love your extreme randomness ! Your pics are beautiful as usual and I love seeing what other young ladies’ life look like ! And the verses are among my favorites…Especially since my church will have no more building to gather on July (we’ll be kicked out because they want to build something new at the place of our building) and we don’t find anything not too expensive. But our God is FAITHFUL and He’ll provide…
Have a great day Rachel ! And feel free to stop by my blog ! Blessings !
