3,446 | Really Random :)

“And He saith unto them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
Matthew 4:19

3,446, the number of miles{approximately} from the farthest point on the east coast to the farthest point on the west coast. After a random calculation, I figured it would take me approximately 114 days{as long as I keep a very steady pace} to walk from the east coast to the west coast{random thought, I know}. Plus 1 back-pack, 50 or so jars of peanut butter, lots of water, and a solar panel to charge my phone. ;) Okay, so I will most likely never {never say never} walk across America, though it sounds like quite an adventure! I have found in my 23 years of life there is a great amount of adventure/excitement right where the Lord has planted me! :) I am so thankful for that! If we are follows of Christ, we are fishers of men. That in itself is an adventure and a worthy calling! I am counting my blessings/adventures today! There is so much to be thankful to the Lord for and so many blessings in every moment of every day. All we have to do is look around and see them! Rejoice always, Be thankful{1 Thes 5:16-18}, and remember, there is a great amount beauty in simplicity! (:

“Two things I request of You
(Deprive me not before I die):
Remove falsehood and lies far from me;
Give me neither poverty nor riches—
Feed me with the food allotted to me;
Lest I be full and deny You,
And say, “Who is the Lord?”
Or lest I be poor and steal,
And profane the name of my God.”
Proverbs 30:7-9

My blessings/adventures this week: Getting lost on the way home from the grocery store{yes, I know, lost on the way home from the store is… strange. :) 1 wrong turn and I ended up in Luckenbach, Texas!} and finding this tiny school-house, breakfast out with my parents{and a FRESHLY baked croissant}, WORK{I am so thankful for all the work God has given me}, frost{ in Texas!}, grocery shopping for 13 people, and a happy breakfast! All small, really random, but all tremendous blessings. I am so thankful for the little things! How about you?

{forewarning, these are cellphone pictures. Real pictures to be posted on my blog… soon :)}

About Rachel

“Come now, and let us reason together,” says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword”; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.” Isaiah 1:18-20
