Day 19 | 31 Day Scripture Challenge

Day 19:

“And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons:

“My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord,
Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him;
 For whom the Lord loves He chastens,
And scourges every son whom He receives.”

If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten?But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons.”
Hebrews 12:5-8

About Rachel

"Come now, and let us reason together," says the Lord, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword"; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken." Isaiah 1:18-20

  1. I’m taking an easy day today…one verse to conclude my scriptures in Isaiah and Luke…
    “And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.” Luke 4:21
    But honestly I have some catching up to do. I just don’t have some of the verses down from the past 19 days the way I want them to be. So I’m reviewing today… : )

  2. Be kindly affectionate one to another with brotherly kindness; in honor preferring one another; not slothful in business; fervent on spirit; serving the Lord. Romans 12: 10-11

  3. But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”
    1 Peter 4:7-8
