Saying Goodbye to Fall | Thankful

The leaves are at the peak of their splendor and joyfully dance to the ground, days shorten and nights grow bitterly cold, golden rows of corn have been harvested, and now the ground lays bare with only little remnants of what grew the summer before. These all are signs of Fall making it’s exit in Missouri and seem to so exquisitely proclaim the beauty of God’s creation!  As much as I will miss  Fall (obviously, my favorite season) and all the rich color it holds, I am thankful for the Winter months coming as they promise to bring Spring and new life! I have been reminded of 2 Corinthians 5:17 when considering the end fall. I don’t know why this verse has been etched into my thoughts so strongly as of late but I am so grateful for the truth and beauty it holds:
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” -2 Corinthians 5:17
Thanking the Lord for the abundant blessings He has given me this glorious Fall!! :)

“Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”

Isaiah 43:18-19

About Rachel

“Come now, and let us reason together,” says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword”; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.” Isaiah 1:18-20
