Reeeeally Random Sunday and A Few Favorite Things

Here is the randomness in the post… just for laughs: This is what happens when my 6 year old brother gets on my laptop’s webcam :)

 ……………….
And a few of my favorite things!: Disclaimer: I am strange, or as I would rather call it “anti-normal”, and my favorite things may be a wee bit strange :)

Cumberland’s Gap in the Fall…. I have already decided to take a trip there next year!
Barns…

Love barns so much, one day, I would like to live in one that looks like this:

Sunsets that are as grand as this one:
Snake River, Grand Teton National Park, WY

Mason Jars! :) They come in handy. All muffins and cupcakes are made 50x more special when baked in a mason jar! ;)

Recipes and Pictures for cupcakes in a jar found here

I did NOT take any of the above pictures. Just found on various sites :)
“A man’s heart plans his way: but the LORD directs his steps.”
Proverbs 16:9

About Rachel

"Come now, and let us reason together," says the Lord, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword"; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken." Isaiah 1:18-20

  1. Cumberland Gap is good. But there is also the Big South Fork and The Great Smoky Mountains around that area as well. So you would have your full of Mountains for a while :). I lived in Knoxville for about 5 years so I know the Smokys pretty well. I can let you know about good trials and such :).

  2. I love the mountains, they are simply breathtaking and show a small glimpse of the amazing handy-work of our awesome Creator!! Thank you, I will most definitely take any suggestions you might have for good trails and the such :) Always great to get tips from those who have lived in the area!

  3. Sure thing. I don't have a knowledge of the trails in Big South Fork or Cumberland Gap but I do of the Smokeys. Just email me when you are preparing for the vacation and I will tell you what I know.

Leave a comment and make my day! ;)
